“Man can be so narrow in the tunnel of his thinking that he fails to notice the gems of wisdom, encrusted into the walls.”

Aaron Azerad started the Truth Island Podcast in the hope of renewing the art of conversation, in an attempt to break the ideological deadlock that has been worsening with each passing year. It is Aaron’s philosophy that no one belief system, person, or political ideology contains all the answers to life. It is only when two or more people engage in intense discussion from a state of vulnerability and willingness to grow that we can begin to start learning about higher truths in our world. It is also important to understand that the ‘truth’ or ‘right thing to do’, is a very fleeting presence and that context and time period matter. It is only when we are not fixated on an identity or structure of belief, that we gain the power to adapt to what is required of us in the present moment. Prior to starting the Truth Island Podcast, Aaron served as a High School History Teacher for nearly a decade - challenging young minds to think beyond what was presently before them. Aaron is a graduate of the CUNY Graduate Center and hopes to one day earn a doctor of philosophy in Public Policy.
